Romeu to start for me. West ham try to bully teams in midfield so i think he's the more logical choice.
Hoping Austin will start but don't expect him to be fit. Hoping for 2 up top and Long being one of them.

 

Been a while since ive done one of these. But been a while since ive looked forward to a match as well.

fast attack down the wings with low first time crosses.

Boufal getting into the box as much as possible when we attack. I want him doing his trickery where we would get the most reward from it. I would love it if he could find his goalscoring form from france too. but i also want him wining the ball back when out of possession as he has proven to be good at that too.

Sims for the speed and general Simsyness he brings to the team.

i'd be happy with any combinations of our 3 DMs and the back 4 pick itself.

 

Hoping for 2 up top but i do like that team and in fairness probably the safer option with 1 forward.

I’d like to see all 3 of the CMs on so we don’t get bullied. Lemina has the Guile to play at 10, and the pace on the wings should cause issues

 

after being dropped by Saints and England, Forster must be the most fired up goalkeeper in the UK. If he had to play he would have the game of his life (or be sold to Bury in the summer)

 

Am more confident than under MP2, but would be more confident if we had started better against Wigan.....yes, I know there were extenuating circumstances like we can't play in wind or on anything less than a carpet, but still.... Hopefully we will be better after more time with Hughes, so I'm going for a 1-0 or 2-1 win for Saints. No point in being unhappy before 16.45 on Saturday.

 

Rather have McCarthy, but Forster does have good games in him. Perhaps he can be fired up by a change of regime as well.

 

Mark hasn't stated yet, that under his new military training schedule, our most expensive player has lost a stone in weight and is now faster than Theo Walcott but will pick Gabbi and Charlie up front, cos he's knackered

Comes back to my favourite whinge....why did we leave it so late? Even a few more weeks would have given Hughes a better chance to change things.

I really hope we don't go 4-4-2 for this, reckon we'll get dominated in the midfield if we do.

I wonder if they're still playing with a back 3. They've got loads of injuries haven't they?
