Who was acceptable? Robles, Kristensen, Forshaw and possibly Bamford at a push. Thought a few were decent in patches but that's no use to anyone if you only have 20 decent minutes in you. There was no leadership on the pitch again and I said on this thread at 1-1 that we'd switched off very much like the Palace game. We were lucky that we didn't end up on the end of 4,5,6 goals there. At the end of the day, I wouldn't be gutted if any of this lot left in the summer. They've all played their part in this. I realise not everyone will leave but it wouldn't bother me one bit if any of them did. If we sold Gnonto for 20 million next week I'd be happy to receive the money.
Win or lose I'll be there against spurs. Relegated or not I'll be back next season. Love the club, love the supporters love Yorkshire
I was thinking when we went 1 up what frame of mind would I have been in if I was a toffee fan, well I thought hang on they've just took the lead and if they get another then we could very well be up **** creek...but hold your horses these lot have form regarding holding onto a slender advantage and there is a very distinct probability they WILL concede, and then the capitulation and defeat is on the cards....and of course we oblige my imaginary Scouse voice, there you go la everything you where thinking was correct....BOTTLERS
Would be funny to see Radz in the dugout for the final game and selecting a team based on value of who he’s paid out the most for
Gnonto wasn't good enough to be on the pitch today and he looked out of his depth at times. That's the sad thing for me this season, the way some players have been mismanaged and gone backwards after promising starts. In fact all the young players have regressed so badly we needed a Dan James out there today to add some speed and fight to the proceedings, but then that's been true on a least a dozen occasions this season. Next week will be a depressing experience for sure as we say goodbye to the PL and whilst many on here think returning to a League we're usually more competitive in might be good there's no guarantees of that, especially as at present we're practically a rudderless ship and so anything is possible. No manager or coaches...even down the age groups most have left recently so we have a couple of relatively new guys in. Every player will be happy to leave given the chance. Our owner doesn't want us anymore and would love to sell. No DOF or senior football people left at the club. But hey it's just the usual down at ER as that's how we roll isn't it.
