    West Ham will more than likely get promoted but IF we sign a striker then so may we

    But they wont consistently win if they cant put the ball in the net every game!

    true. but like i say anyone can score for me Just as long as City win.

    nobody scores every game and not even Messi. he missed a pen the other night. Booooooooooooooooooooooo lol

    i am not hung up on the strikers poor return at the moment. but i may well be if nothing is done about it by the time the loan window shuts. but i also am realistic enough to know that spending millions does not guarantee anything. Torres and Carroll are two classic examples, But of late both Aguero and Dzeko have been much slower in there goals scored. It happens. Support is the key imo.

    Can't argue with that. <laugh>

    As for the other issue raised in this thread, a striker needs to score goals, if he doesn't, he should call himself a midfielder(on that basis, we currently have six midfielders in the starting XI).

    So in conclusion to my question, just like Conor Wickham and Balotelli before this season, his reputation is based on absolutely nothing?
