Baked beans are one of the best foods nutritionally.....almost a complete food. I like them occasionally.

I had a pile of baked beans at Annie’s Cafe in Woolston with Vin yesterday morning.

Great breakfast and great banter from the ladies running it, one of whom I recognised and it turns out from seeeing her at Saints games!!

I rarely have a big fry up, but this was a lovely treat.

We are eating very little. The very lovely Mrs Godders:emoticon-0115-inlov says that with the confusion over Brexit the shops will all be empty soon and life will be like communist Russia and food shortages in WW2. We are therefore rationing ourselves to make our stockpiled food last as long as possible. I stocked up with a case of scotch and 72 tins of baked beans. Thank goodness the very lovely Mrs Godders:emoticon-0115-inlov has been buying sensible food to stockpile. Supper this evening is going to be liver and bacon casserole with loads of onions. The worst part is I am now rationed to two small glasses of scotch which means I go to bed sober which is something I haven't done for years. How can I cope with the wretchedness of life under the bloody Tories if I am sober all the time FFS.

It's not just school dinners that put me off liver.

"The primary functions of the liver are: Bile production and excretion. Excretion of bilirubin, cholesterol, hormones, and drugs. Metabolism of fats, proteins, andcarbohydrates."

    Yum, yum.

And as for kidneys, they produce piss, right? Probably easier and more palatable to just drink piss

Teriyaki chicken and noodles. I gave it a 7/10 which got me a Paddington Bear stare from my wife.
