"The Americans" Season 2 - Pretty solid. Still not sure how much I enjoy the show, but it has it's moments. "Impastor" Season 2 - Decent again, bit of fun. Not the best of writing, but a nice light hearted watch. Looking forward to the new episode of Broadchurch tonight. Has been fantastic thus far.
Started Fortitude Season 2 last night. 3 episodes in. Pretty gripping from the off. Not sure if I'm overly keen on the direction it's taking, but at the moment, keeping me interested.
Finished Fortitude Season 2. Gutting. Went so strange. That was like a totally different show to the first Season. I reminded me a lot at times of a icy, Twin Peaks. But because the 1st season was nothing like that, was too much of a shift for me to enjoy. Liked the first, second was averagely sh*t.
Just to keep you some semblance of company on this thread FML. I'm finally making progress with GofT. Just started on season 5. It is good TV but maybe not quite as good as all the hype. None the less, being the king or the hand of the king are very risky positions! I'm also going further back in time and watching Phoenix nights again, I'm a big fan of most things from PK but thought season 2 of car share was pretty crap. The first season was good, not anything amazing but 4 poor episodes was something of a let down. Bah!
Thanks mate I love PN, and I really liked the 2nd season of car share! I thought it was very similar to the first Season. I thought it followed on very fluidly.
Weird, I mentioned PN and later today saw a FB article suggesting he PK has written a 3rd series! Now that would be something to look forward to, avante Peter get it made. Bah!
Crikey, PN, FB, PK, not to mention AN, AI and SW. I get pretty confused by all these abbreviations, and I'd never use them in any of my posts. LOL
Animals Season 2. 8 of the 10 episodes aired so far. Love this show. Really funny. Great soundtrack, love the animation.
I've just finished watching Three Girls and I'm stunned that no action was taken against the police who initially failed the girls by not taking their claims seriously!!! I was also gobsmacked at the end web it showed the extent of grooming that exists throughout the UK.
Bates Motel - Final season. Fantastic. The Trip to Spain - Hilarious as always. Blindspot - Season 1. A real effort to finish. You don't need 23 hour long episode Seasons. So much filler. Beginning and end few episodes were very good. A lot of waffle in the middle though.
Just watched the last episode, harrowing watching, left me very emotional, especially the bit where Sara was not allowed to work with children and was quickly made redundant! Superb production!
I can't believe that effectively, she was the only one who lost her job because of the failings of so many others!! Just seen this article on the series on the BBC website - http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-39972887
I used to like them but I think 13 episodes is just enough for all shows now and usually the quality is better. I started of liking Blindspot but got bored halfway through.
Exactly what I was saying. 10-14 hour long series are perfect. I really like at the moment, the 8 hour long episode crime dramas. I think they are perfect size.
Indeed KIO and saw this article this morning - http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-manchester-39991119 -
Is Season 3 the best so far? I think that's next on my list to catch up on. Been a touch underwhelmed by the first 2 Seasons.
