A talented footballer, who on his day who looked outstanding at the start of last year. However he struggles to cope with the physical demands of regular football.

Where do you all think he will end up?

A spell on the bench for him might be a good thing!

Me too! He's a cracking player and great dead ball specialist too. He needs to play, but I don't think SB has any interest in him. Still think he is PL quality, so maybe Blackpool or Wolves?

did well when he got his weight down was like a new player then got unlucky with injuries ,then the team moved on a bit he found it hard to get back in and with his contract up in the summer he will be good to have on the bench for us unless he goes on loan,i would like him on the bench for us till then as i still think he is a good player when fit and he will be able choose where to go i dont think he will have a problem finding a club, best of luck to the lad he still done allright for us i think

I remember when he first arrived at our great club. He was rounder than the football and TBH a bit of an embarrassment because he was so fat! But you could still see the quality of his touch and passing ability. To his credit he lost the weight and became one of our key players IMHO. The guy has been so unlucky with injuries, which is a great shame for him and us. I think you are right Trev, when you say he will have no problem finding another club and when he does eventually move on, I wish him the best of luck too.

Blackpool would be a great move for him if/when Charlie Adam moves on, i think he would suit that style of play. Im not sure if they have the wage structure to get him tho.

I wouldn't think he's on a fortune with us, but then again Blackpool is run on a shoestring.....and that is not being critical of them BTW. They run their club sensibly, like us :)

BTW Ken, that is one ugly pic you've got there mate! :)

i agree with what you say and he still has a lot to offer if he keeps fit he did well for us and was key player for us at one stage to help keep us up when we had very little to offer in midfield and had a hand in a few of the goals we did score when needed ,so good luck to him

Good player when he trims down. Superb at times last season. Really nice lad as well.

If he moves on, I hope he goes on to do really well.

My abiding memory of Andy Reid will always be his cracking goal V WHU.

Pleased to see that most fans have fond memories of him.

TBH I have no idea where it all went wrong for him. It's just yet another crying shame for what I perceived as a brilliant taken. Not quite a Gazza but a shame nonetheless.

I think it’s all too late for him now. He will probs drift into League 1 when his contract expires.

What a waste of a talent.
(the same could be said of me, in fairness – though not in footy – so I am not one to judge)
