Nearby theres a wee deli that does nice soup, sandwiches, paninis etc. Theres a Subway. Theres Boots, who do a decent wee Meal Deal. Theres Tesco, who do nice pasta/salad bowls.

Got a craving for The Greggs, but theres not one about :(

Havent got a clue were to go for lunch, been bringing my own stuff in the last few weeks and saved a **** load in cash, but as its Friday and the last day in the office I though I'd treat myself to a chinease or something.

The head chef on the platform just now is a million times better than his back-to-back. Proper battered Haddock I had for lunch today, fresh made. The fish last Friday looked like afterbirth.

    mmmmm, battered afterbirth.

soup and a tuna mozarella panini (which will be dunked), then an apple (not a gala apple, possibly a braeburn) to clean the palette

Apparently back in the days of Roughnecks and 20 hour shifts you were allowed to fish off a platform. Nowadays you can't fart without a permit-to-work, a risk assessment and toolbox talk.

I make my own lunch now, usually ham sandwich, apple, banana and muller light (they're doing a deal on these in sainsbury's)

i have salad and a couple of apples. i'm now a binge greaser, i eat healthily during the wk then binge on grease at the wkend.

this is what'll start happening to everyone once they make alcohol too expensive to drink in this country

You know you are actually better to treat yourself with something unhealthy once a week? It keeps your liver strong by giving it something to do! Eating healthy all the time can have a negative affect on your strength and your immune system. Thats probably why vegetarians are feeble.

I treat myself to a take away each weekend <ok>
