i know how to make toad mate. I just prefer to fry or grill first/ No right or wrong. Tonight i've done homemade burgers with the usual, but added some red peppers on top. Sweet chiili/garlic wraps with veg. Then someone asked if i would do them a chinks, as i took a half day. So done a beef and veg stip fry in hoisin sauce, (im tempted to keep it tho, and its ****ing great, believe it or not) and some egg.veg fried rice.
Was walking through a door the other day at hospital and a man and a woman were discussing Richmond sausages. She said she loved them, he was like, you can't even call them sausages! Made me laugh! Are Richmonds the marmite of sausages?
Not weird mate. If I want to eat proper ‘meat’, I don’t buy ****in sausages! Questionable meat IS a sausage.
Harsh .. Tend not to burn sausages under the grill. I’m not even keen on the texture of overly high meat content sausages.
I like the high meat content but finely ground, I poach in water for 5 mins then finish them off in a frying pan with a little olive oil.
Sounds a bit complicated for a sausage. For summer bbq’s I get some from a butcher no idea on meat content but they’re not dry and not cheap.
I had a couple of these last night. They were excellent. https://www.donaldrussell.com/pork-sausages.html
Joined this Fitness thing organised by an ExMarine...just circuit training basically. He even produces a Diet plan It’s hard work omitting Carbs from any dish I’m struggling
Hate the cheap sausages, especially those with a 32% meat content. I tend to make my own but make them as sausage patties. I make them from pork shoulder which generally gives you 80% meat content.
I do that for BBQ's as well, means I don't have to nuke them to ensure they are cooked but still get the BBQ flavour.
