I hope it’s a can of mushy peas and not this squashed garden pea rubbish. If I’m having fish and chips then it’s as much unhealthy salt laced crap I can get down my neck I.
Yeah tinned mushy peas. Debating doing a beer batter for the fish though think it may be a waste of beer and just use fizzy water instead.
doesn’t matter you have canned mushy peas. To be honest never used beer or fizzy water. If I do it it’s outside on BBQ ring using a cast iron casserole dish as she moans it stinks house out, but doesn’t mind eating it.
Looks a bit of a hybrid there, like you can't make your mind up between risotto or paella. Can see saffron, which is paella surely? Not much parmesan either. Would eat the **** out of it though.
I did push it and try to add chorizo but she wasn't having any of it. The red bits are red pepper cooked down. Lots of parmesan but I add it at the end and stir so you can't see any.
See, I'm the opposite, I hate thick bread. I think what's the point of ruining the filling by the taste of too much bread, it makes the sandwich dry. Only time I might prefer thick bread is for toast, but even then I'm not overly fussed and go for thin sliced.
