Is it a flat brew you've made or is there a light carbonation to it? The lager I made deffo got better after 2 weeks in the bottle, I'm bottling the next batch tomorrow.
Can anyone think of a single cold food dish that is in any way representative of UK food - and I don't mean crisps or pizza the morning after. We were invited out by friends from around Europe the other night and each of us was asked to bring along a cold dish from each of our countries. I was going to bring along one of my wife's Sunday lunches - they are always cold - but thought better of it. I ended up making an Eton mess.
Doesn't really stack up against marinated red peppers stuffed with herbs, goat cheese and Iberico ham does it - that is precisely the problem, we just don't do cold food of any note.
Smoked salmon, now that's a good shout lovely stuff, more Scotland than England though if that matters.
