I cant stand beef flavoured crisps.. The only thing i like to taste of beef is beef... An we all know the only hula hoops worth eating are the plain ones <ok>

That said I did used to enjoy Brannigans beef and mustard crisps... <ok>

Been having this for lunch in work a lot really nice and my own work.

    It's a version of Dall.

Soak a dried Ancho chilli in 100ml warm water for 30 mins.

Brown some sliced onions in oil then add 1 chilli (finely chopped) garlic (crushed, chopped) and one 1 inch piece of ginger (finely grated).

Fry for 1 minute and then add 1 tablespoon of a good quality curry powder and fry for 2 mins until you have a brown paste.

Add a handfull of yellow split lentils and a handfull of pearl barley, salt and pepper.

Chop the ancho chilli and add along with the water it was soaked in.

Bring to boil then down to a low simmer.

Cook for about 35 mins with the lid on then add juice of 1/2 a lemon and a handfull of frozen peas, cook for 5 mins.

You may need to add more water there should be a nice sauce at the end. (like a rissotto)

To improve this you could also season it with some Beef Hoola Hoops - adds flavour and texture <ok>

Very much so, never heard of it until they started supplying it. Nice change from the usually fizzy stuff, quite refreshing but probably knocks five years off your life like everything from similar types of shops/take aways.

Yep, I like the rubicon mango which is the blue can. Rubicon passion is a light red can.

Got mixed up over which colour each one is as there are about 10 different varieties of rubicon.

Going up the casino to play tournament poker and watch the footie tonight......Which means rpid nutrition is needed....

4 rashers smoked bacon chopped up, 1 onion chopped, 2 cloves garlic crushed.... fry...

At the same time put fresh pasta on to boil.

once bacon cooked add pot of creamand mix, then add spaghetti ....mix

Put on plate, cover in Parmesan, eat, 1000 calories in 5 minutes......mmmmm

And i can have it made an eaten by the time the wife gets home, so i dont have to do the sitting down at the dining room table bollox.
