WTE now on cloud nine - he scored with the last kick of the game for Salernitana to win 3-2. Zeegelaar sent off with ten minutes left.
Wilder to take over at Reading? https://www.gazettelive.co.uk/sport...sbrough-chris-wilder-manager-reading-27033738
I need to improve my Spanish before my holiday to South America, but I think we're looking at 4 assists and 3 goals in 7 games. Mex??
Apparently Brendan Rodgers had been linked with a return to Celtic . Not sure it would be a popular return going by initials reaction. We will probably see Choudhury in a Leicester shirt at the Vic next season - signed a new deal there .
When Celtic appointed Postecoglu two years ago the initial reactions were much the same - even though he had been successful in virtually every managerial position he had held since retiring as a player. Mind you, I'd say Rodgers is a few steps down from Postecoglu.
Yes think it was more the fact Rodgers walked out on them for Leicester mid season which damaged his reputation. I suspect Postecoglu will have to start well other the media and fans will start saying "it was only Celtic"
Yes, I would. We need his steel and his tremendous flexibility (his full-back efforts in a time of need were admirable - no diva, Gosling).
He made it into the British South Asians Team of the Season. Selected from players "at every level of the women's football pyramid and across the divisions in the English Football League", they must have run out of options as they included one from Portugal and one from Scotland. https://www.skysports.com/football/...-makes-it-into-the-2022-23-team-of-the-season
I dont know if this article has been posted elswehere..... https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/f...d-INJURE-player-Watford-gunned-away-2016.html but TD reveals what a t@@t footballers can be......
Yes - he does come out with some inflammatory and unsavoury stuff . You hope he didn’t really mean it and was just trying to make a headline for the podcast to get people noticing .
Rather old stuff. This has all been out before. But more interesting was that the management thought Deeney wanted more cash to stay, but he says that it wasn't about the money he wanted a speed hump removed, another spectator box for his family and champagne in the box for his family, nothing to do with money. Just an indicator how much the management were out of touch with a player's feelings and thoughts. I wonder if the management have learned anything from this and whether that same attitude still exists now.
The age old problem here is with the Daily Mail (surprise, surprise) - and probably with the guy who tweeted in the first place. Their headline has him threatening to injure every player at the club - which is not what he said in the video clip. If he had said that, I'd imagine that he would have 'lost the dressing room' rather than the Coach or club management, and would have been forced out. You also have to wonder about what he claims Mazzarri told him to do in the car - as far as I recollect, Troy couldn't speak a word of Italian and Mazzarri couldn't speak a word of English - the club had an interpreter for him who would surely have reported back any such conversation. As far as money goes, I'd like to have heard what was said on the subject before the clip started - it just seems to be a little too convenient that it starts where it does, as he does appear to have not been too bothered about the size of his salary, preferring to focus on the speed bump etc. I suspect that he knows his football career is over, and is simply trying to be controversial, with one eye on furthering a career in the media. He should tread carefully - such outbursts have a relatively short shelf life - the notoriously fickle football public could just dump him.
