Vydra did come off the bench and looked lively. He also showed why it was Abdi and not him who took the free-kicks just outside the box.
Am still following the Fortunes of Iggy... He managed another goal today - that's nine in his last eight games. And Mario Suarez seems to have worked wonders for his Chinese team - played four, won four.
He certainly lost form here, good luck to him in China -but, surely it must be easier to find the onion bag there....

If it hadn't been for an idiotic mistake by one of his defenders, Foster would've kept another clean sheet. IMO, the 2 best English keepers in the PL, including form towards the end of last season, at the moment are Foster and Heaton. As for the 3 that Southgate has picked alongside Heaton, Hart has yet to convince that the failings that caused him to leave City have left him, Butland still hasn't regained form after his return from injury and Pickford has yet to show that he has the concentration at a team where he is involved less than he was at Sunderland.
Bit of a tenuous one I guess as he was only ever in our youth team; "DONE DEAL: Borussia Dortmund have signed Man City wonderkid Jadon Sancho. He'll wear Ousmane Dembélé's old number 7 shirt."
