Look at the state of that. A decade at the Spuds and **** all to show for it other than disappointment. please log in to view this image Surely it's time for Harry Kane to move on to a club that can offer him the chance of some silverware. So where will he go ? Levy will try and demand a huge fee for him, but Covid has ****ed football finances and the £200m they probably could have got for him a couple of years ago now looks like a pipe dream Can the Spuds persuade Kane to waste any more of his career at Spurs ? Or is this the summer where he finally decides that to rescue his career he needs to make the step up to a big club ?
Nowhere. No one will pay what they want and Kane won't slap in a transfer request. He made his bed when he signed that new contract. Close thread
Redknapp is confident Spurs will bounce back next year, and thinks they have everything needed to challenge for major honours in the near future. “Everything is in place at Tottenham,” he added. “They’ve got the best stadium in England, bar none, they’ve got an incredible training ground, which is out of this world, and they have good players. OK, maybe they need to shift one or two out who have come to the end of their time, and get one or two in. But if they do, anything can happen. They could be right there challenging next season.” Good old 'Arry
This ^ really. COVID has ****ed his value and he’s literally irreplaceable for Spurs. He’s not the sort to down tools imo, so he’s marooned and will have to make the best of it.
They'll end up with Sari ball or Scott Parker's 5 year project and Kane's career will wither away in sorry case of 'what could have been'
I’m weeping for the poor ****, marooned with his £10m per year contract for the next 3 years. Oh the humanity.
He shouldn’t have signed that lengthy contract, but he did so obvs thinking Spurs were going to compete at the pinnacle, which in fairness, at the time they were. It’ll be interesting to see if a club actually tries to take him or whether they’ll all just write him off as unattainable.
You'd have thought a few will at least test the water. I can see Utd making an enquiry, unsettling the player, before **** chops Levy tells them he won't sell for less that £200m
