If Steve Gerard has not left Rangers maybe, and maybe he would have won them another title. EPL is tougher than SPL. Poor guy.

Not so sure about that one.

Celtic were back. On the day Gerrard joined villa rangers were too but celtic were scoring more freely.and went on to win it well.

Apparently, Gerrard is the bookies favourite (@7-4) to take over from Klopp when he steps down <yikes>

I like Steve Gerrard but believes Liverpool's job is too big for him at the moment. What do you think?

I've not followed Xabi's managerial career so far but on blind faith alone I imagine he'd be better than Gerrard based on what I've witnessed... <laugh>

When will Lucas make his managerial debut?

Ok, I'm not being fair to Gerrard, but he's not ready yet. Five years from now, maybe. I'll review if he's improved then.

He needs to go into management when he does. <ok>

Instill his attitude into XI talented players and it will be quadruples every year.

I'm hearing that people might want to put a bet on hasselhuth to be next for the chop.

apparently the replacement is lined up from river plate and that will be that just as soon as world cup starts.

Looks like the hassle is over at saints.

They can't ****ing decide what to do though so everyone in the media is reporting it before thry made an announcement.

It had been reported the deal with the guy for severance was made already.

    Let's see.

    Yay I won one!

I voted hassle who's now finally confirmed as gone.

That us up against a side that's going to pile into us on the weekend.

So who's next worst on the chop list.

I need to update the poll.

Not many obvious candidates right now, though that's beacuse it feels like half the teams have changed their manager. Rodgers looks to have turned Leicester around and Lampard still seems popular among Everton fans. Moyes and Cooper seem safe enough for now. Marsch doesn't seem to have completely won over the Leeds fans yet, and if Boehler's trigger happy then Potter could be under pressure. So probably one of those two. But hopefully no-one for a while.

IMo a lot of clubs have acted early.

Parker - Bournemouth in august (no winner)
Tuchetl - Chelsea, ealry September (no winner)
Lage- Wolves Early October (no winner)
Gerrard- villa - mid october (nozzer)
Hasselhuth - Southampton - early november (mito)

enforced change at brighton due to potter going to chavs

this then leaves the rather obvious look at the league table

Forest - rock bottom, still close to safety but ..... a lot of money spent.
Everton - 16th and all others beolow have already sacked. 2 points form the drop.
    West ham - read everton
Leicester- read everton also, yes have improved
Leeds - Have jumped to 15points and 3 form safety due to this win v bournemouth. take that away and they are on 13 1 point form safety. can' rule this out.

    Then at the top end

al lot look like they are having a great old time at our expanse. howe, arteta, the tin hat... but what about Conte, the winter of discontent seems to be setting in there, what about potter. Not going well at all.

I'll update poll with the following

    Potter
    conte
    Cooper
    Lampard
    Moyes
    Rodgers
    Masch
    wild card... o'neill
