That's all very well but the gulf in spending between 6th and 7th, let alone the rest, is so great that you're better off comparing their spending to the bottom 6 rather than the top 6.

Well to be fair, Liverpool have been out performed by Arsenal and Rodgers is a fraud.

 

My stats have Arsenal slightly more expensive, though they have still outperformed us and had a good season. That small difference is easily accounted for by our injury problems compared with them.

There's no excuse for Everton's massive, unprecedented, humiliating collapse. What happened? Are Lukaku and Barkley too #worldclass ?

Even when Martinez #luckedout and injury forced Robles to take over and perform much better than Howard, the moron dropped him instantly when Howard was fit again. At least Rodgers can recognise when he's stumbled on something that works.
