The PFA announces each Division's team of the year towards the end of April. Last season the team was as follows: GK - David De Gea (Manchester United) RB - Hector Bellerin (Arsenal) CB - Toby Alderweireld (Tottenham Hotspur) CB - Wes Morgan (Leicester City) LB - Danny Rose (Tottenham Hotspur) Mid - Riyad Mahrez (Leicester City) Mid - N'Golo Kanté (Leicester City) Mid - Dele Alli (Tottenham Hotspur) Mid - Dimitri Payet (West Ham) CF - Jamie Vardy (Leicester City) CF - Harry Kane (Tottenham Hotspur) This year there are a lot more debatable choices. I thought that we could compile our own team and see how close we get to the real thing. I am assuming a 4-4-2 formation. I will put up one poll at a time and anyone is free to vote (non-Saints fans too). If you choose other please state their name and afterwards the player(s) with the most votes will be selected. Each vote will be open for 3 days. 2016/17 GK - David De Gea (Manchester United) RB - Kyle Walker (Tottenham Hotspur) LB - Ryan Bertrand (Southampton) CB - Virgil van Dijk (Southampton) CB - Toby Alderweireld (Tottenham Hotspur) CM - N'Golo Kanté (Chelsea) CM - Oriol Romeu Vidal (Southampton)
I am going to do a 4-4-2 as that is what the PFA always use, however I think a 4-2-3-1 would be the likely choice otherwise.
Despite the fact Alli is a complete and utter bellend, can't deny he's a damn good player so voted for him and Hazard.
Given that Mané almost singlehandedly propelled Liverpool into the top 4 I've gone for him and Hazard.
De Gea Walker Cahill Luiz Rose Kante Mane Alli Hazard Kane Lukaku The PFA have gone for the **** it we've got Kante formation
