    American football may be one of the most contrived games in sport but it is a lot of fun to follow. Rams fan here. Hate your 49ers. ;-)

    It sure is a lot of fun to follow. Seen a lot of football these past few weeks, thought Dallas @ Seattle was a great game.

    Bills fan. Goes back to the early days on channel 4 when they were ****e. Looking out for the underdog.

    Then they started to get good, then real good and now we've been ****e to mediocre for what feels like forever.

    We'll make the playoffs this coming season though. Guaranteed.

    The Rams are building a solid club, and I think they would have been a playoff team last year had not Bradford go down. Shame on them for not having a better backup QB. The defense will be very good, and the offense is going to hinge on a rebuilt offensive line. The offense has been transitioning to a hard-nosed ground first game with a lot of play action, which is really more to Jeff Fisher's liking. I think that will work in the NFC West. It's a tough division but I think the Rams can make the playoffs if the OL gets sorted out.

    Yes . . .. in 1984. I was a St. Louis Cardinals football fan then but I wrote them off when they moved to the desert after the '87 season. I grew up hating the Cowboys so I could never adopt them as my new team. After 7 years in the wilderness, I latched onto the Rams when they moved to the Lou in '95.
