Hart shouldn't even be there, I know the third choice keeper won't get a game and they'll probably just take him for his experience, but I'd still just take the other three (purely to remove any chance of him being involved).

Agreed, take Pope as hes been far better this season than Hart, doubt Southgate will think the same though.

Not since Robbie Fowler got an injury in 97 or 98 and went from world beater to bang average striker can I remember a player whose stock has fallen so rapidly than Joe Hart. He's become an utter liability seemingly out of nowhere and for no real reason

Hart makes an error and the thread comes up again. Nothing about him after he helped West Ham to an away point at Chelsea with an outrageously good save a couple of weeks back though.

    It's Marshall all over again.

He's not as good as Pickford or Butland though regardless. He's also had his turn, give the new generation a chance.

I'm happy whoever starts. Southgate will pick the right one. He watches them every week and will make his decision on that alone. My concern is that if Hart plays the knives will be out before we kick a ball, yet again putting the team under needless pressure from the scrutiny. People will have made their minds up that he's the problem beforehand. Like when Kane took corners at the Euros.

read the article in sky sports news. He's made more errors than all the English keepers in the premier league combined this season. I really don't get your defence of Hart, hes dog ****

Pickford for me. Stoke look like going down and Butland hasn't had an amazing season.

Also Pickford is good with his feet, when playing out from the back u need a keeper that's comfortable with the ball at his feet. The thought of Hart playing short simple passes to defender's doesn't fill me with confidence. Obviously Pep had the same concerns cause he ditched Hart straight away.

Yet every England manager has picked him consistently for years.

Due to not having much competition... strange now we have some decent goalkeepers there's great clamour for him not to be played. So in our first group game, you'd honestly want Hart to play over any other English keeper if it was your choice? its your opinion so I respect that and wont argue about it, I just cant see any positives to having him.

yeah I had no issue with him playing up until this year (although he was also dodgy for Torino too).

He’s not even West Ham’s best goalie ffs.

Taking him would be baffling, there’s 3 others clearly better than him.

I’d rather see Marshall in goal for than Hart too.

As long as it's not Joe Hart.

I'd give Nick Pope a go.

This is possibly why people don't rate him...

Joe Hart (18 appearances) has made as many errors leading to goals this season, as every other English goalkeeper in the Premier League put together (179 appearances).
