OK, we have debated Brexit till the cows come home, we have all agreed and disagreed on almost every point, it started off a leave or remain, then it was why, what if , how, greed and need, MP's on all sides just looking after their own selfish little kingdoms and we have still got that split down the middle of our nation but leave won the arguments and became the majority democratic winner. We (Not606) now need to debate a change of emphasis, May has resigned, the local elections were held both Labour and Tory recieved a bashing, European elections are done and the Brexit party had a dramatic single party win or just to keep the remoaners happy if you add the 3 or 4 or 5 or even 6 other remain parties together they just edged it but the Brexit party won 29 seats and are the major UK party in EU Parliament. We have had the Peterborough bi- election and Labour just skinned in by 670 odd votes and Herr Corbyn is claiming a great, convincing Labour victory, the curious thing the Conservatives have lost on all counts but they are the party still in control and will be grabbing the headlines for the next 4-6 weeks. Our next prime minister is about to be selected/elected by the MP's and membeship of the Tory party, quite legally just like Blair to Brown of Labour, there are 11 candidates ~ Gove/Gyimah/Hancock/Harper/Hunt/Javid/Johnson/Leadsom/Mcvey/Raab/Stewart. please log in to view this image Who will be the last Tory standing? it affects us all, whatever our party or European point of view. please log in to view this image
Michael Gove: Cocaine 'mistake' a 'deep regret' https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-48564722 Always thought he was a sniffer or up my nose type.
I'd be amazed if any of them weren't on the coke from time to time! It's a rich persons play thing and I bet they're at it from all parties. In some ways I'm on Gove's side here. People take drugs. They're fun. The best thing is to educate people on why it's bad rather than pretend it doesn't happen.

Johnson threatens to withhold 39 billion-pound EU Brexit payment https://uk.reuters.com/article/uk-b...ound-eu-brexit-payment-idUKKCN1T90SD?rpc=401& 'Boris Johnson, the leading candidate to succeed Theresa May as leader of Britain’s Conservative Party and its next prime minister, said he would withhold a 39 billion-pound exit payment to extract better terms from the European Union.' “I always thought it was extraordinary that we should agree to write that entire cheque before having a final deal. In getting a good deal, money is a great solvent and a great lubricant,”
I'd love to think so 1For. However I'm not entirely convinced about Boris. Should he win I have a mad theory he will engineer a referendum with options which will split the 'leave' vote and a 'remain' option that will prove victorious. I can't get it that he's a genuine 'leaver'. If I have misjudged him then I think he'd be the right type (our Trump) to take on the corrupt EU. If not Boris it has to be Raab.
