I’ve just asked Watson to keep you on a leash, Spurlock. mad how you can tell when someone’s on the rag isn’t it lads.
After the run from Jan last season, for this season I predicted (with some mild derision) that we'd finish top 5. Some said that I was being a tad overconfident. Our defence is missing Chris Wood, which has cost us at least four points (with two draws instead of wins). I'll stick with my top 5. Arsenal Man City Man U Brighton Toon It'll be a close thing though.
No. 33 points from 1st 16 games, 2.1pts per game 14 points from next 10 games, 1.4pts per game Carry on at latter rate and we will end up with 64pts. A total like that has never been enough for 4th.
Tuchel is free now, that would make sense, as Spurs only seem to go for washed up Chelsea rejects these days.
Why 10 games? We’ve played 11 since resuming after WC. 17 points rom 11 being 1.55 points per game. Reduces first set to 30 from 15 being 2.00 points per game. First 11 games of season we got 18 points being 1.64 points per game. Not far off from the first 11 after WC. Nothing for anyone to whittle on about. Fourth still well n our hands.
Are you from the Munson school of statistics? Those periods are totally incompatible as the first period includes a period were we won 1 game out of 8, and then 8 out of 9, thus 2 totally different times of form. Your second period then includes a period when we won 1 league game out of 8, and then 2 in a row....again you're jamming completely different form periods into one and trying to look at them as one. Plus your argument is flawed because if you take the average points from the whole season we'd finish on 69, which would be enough for 4th.
Holy ****, I may have called it... https://theboyhotspur.com/former-pl...ource=rsn&utm_medium=rsn&utm_campaign=gac0096
