I haven't read anything about our supporters abusing anybody? We probably reminded our former players how ****e they are and how much better off we are without them but surely they've got to expect that. It's football banter, isn't it?

 

Of course it is,and these players know it. If we continue to play how we did last night, most teams in this league will be ****ting themselves when they play us...none more so than those full of our ex-players.

 

LJ is going to have his work cut out keeping all these players happy mind. Selection headaches all over the pitch!

 

On the back of last nights performance the Wigan supporters have all been saying anybody that finishes above Sunderland will win the league. Our squad depth seems to have really hit home after that game.

 

Young , hungry players wanting game time. Feel good factor is best it’s been for a long time.

 

I was reading* some pre game comments on one of their sites thinking they had the stronger squad, not even close.

That performance shows how good we did in the transfer and also on the training pitch squad looking really good

 

It's ironic that those who were posting relentlessly about our poor transfer situation, coaching, etc, have vanished.

You'd think that those who kept saying that no one would be happier than them to be proved wrong ...

... would be posting to say how happy they are.

What they're actually doing is hiding until we have a bad patch so they can come out and start moaning again.

No mate. Singing a song about Wyke abusing kids is a bit more than that. Also songs about the IRA are being clamped down on.

 

It’s about learning to trust the people running the club , after years and years of being let down by previous owners and management teams we now appear to have a regime in place that actually knows what they are doing . From the outset I was impressed with the building of a infrastructure being put in place that was aimed at having solid foundations to rebuild the club , the early indications look really promising don’t they!!!

 

It must be getting close to Gooch or McGeady not always being automatic starters, and last in line to be subbed under any circumstances.

Him and Wyke weren't even in the squad, though. I doubt they were even at the match.

If we were singing about Wyke abusing kids then that's just sick and a bit jaw dropping considering we had an actual paedophile playing for our team.

 

Plenty of tinpot Cup games for them to show they deserve a start! Plus at least one more Milk (or whatever it is called this year) Cup game...

 

It's poor and we're better than that, we shouldn't be drawn into behaving like Coventry, Portsmouth, etc, supporters.

Things have become a little nastier recently and fake rivalries created such as we've seen with visitors to the SOL.

There's a bitterness in people, since this pandemic, and a slip in common decency.

People have been virtually caged up, on the internet and winding each other up themselves included.

I hope, and believe, this will calm down and that the decent supporters will shame those who've gotten carried away.
