If our defence plays like they've been playing so far this season then we could be on for one hell of a hiding but its game like this that we play better in.

    My prediction - Wigan 3 - 1 Gas

    Wigan 4-1 win

cant see us getting anything out of this game and if we play like we did on Tuesday then we wont get much out of many games. I don't understand why we have to try and walk the ball into the net especially when the wind was that strong and the keeper nearly scored from his kick. they came out and did what we failed to do in the first half and that was shoot on sight

Depends what Rovers turn up. If any of Leadbitter, Moore and Harrison starts, then we will lose by 3 or more goals. At the moment, Leadbitter and Moore are being carried by the rest of the team. Harrison is better as an impact sub. The only chance that we will have a chance is if all 3 dont start the game.

I would like to see Bola start at left back. Brown is one of my all time favourite players, but he keeps getting caught for pace in this league. He is frightened of wingers going past him so he hangs back and gives the winger too much room. I think he should play him in front of Bola or give him a rest.
I think if he starts with Partington and Bola we could get something from this game.

Add Slocombe and Adam Smith to that IMO two below average GKs :emoticon-0148-yes: would rather Andre started:emoticon-0148-yes: or better still go back in time and sign Lumley:D and whilst we're there sign to decent CBs:emoticon-0148-yes:

Slocombe is a good keeper we don't need to replace him or Smith who hadn't trained and was not fully fit. I think the chances of Partington getting a regular game while Leadbitter is at the club is remote though I think he is a better player. Lee Browns problem is there is no one in front of him to give him backup under this formation so either he needs to sign a quality winger who can cross the ball and isn't afraid to track back or a striker that can hit the back of the net regularly

The whole team needs to defend better. I also think we miss Sinclair's hard graft when he's not there. If we get off to a good start and an early goal we could be ok. But I fear the worst, because we're conceding too many and too easily.

Our number 10 could have prevented the last two goals if he hadn't been ball watching, and no one attacked the ball for the first- they were all running in the other direction, giving their guy acres of space to shoot. I think Moore's been a great addition, Leadbitter's better going forward and Harrison's decent in the air, he defends well and gets a few goals. I think we need either a midfielder sitting deep in front of the centre backs or three centre backs.

Wigan 2-0 seemed to be playing well before the red card

Five losses already and were only in mid September ! Joint worst goals against in the league , what do they do on the training ground ? I think that they have all got to have a long hard look at themselves and not just the players !

Yeah I would love to know what goes on training as well. DC mentality seems to be would rather lose heavily then go for a draw.
