Completely. Are they expecting someone else to come in and save them? The bloke should have been given the chance to get them straight back up.
Yep, got them to the Prem for the first time in donkeys years and was a huge success last last. Okay second season syndrome this season (maybe predictable after the way they dropped off last season), but he should have had more time. Look at the guy at Norwich - bottom of the Prem last season, but they knew he could turn it around and they're on course for an immediate return. Do Sheff Utd really think they deserve better?
Oh ye? Like Steve Bruce should, right? Wilder will be your manager next season for the promotion campaign
Sheff Utd accepted their fate early on when they didn't sack him. He can't have any complaints given the **** theyr'e in.
For those supporting Wilder and thinking he should’ve been kept on, you do realise he signed Jack Rodwell right?
Fair enough for me. Yes he’s done a terrific job to get them there, but it does look to have gone stale. With them already gone, it’s a good time to bring in a new boss and let them assess the squad and club ahead of next season. Not sure why we have Newcastle fans arsed about him going - he’s got a net spend of about 110m in last two seasons and looks to have not spent it that wisely. I thought Brewster might have worked out better than he did. Think of it like this, if Bruce had got us promoted from League One to the PL, spent 110m, and then was having a season like theirs, playing the football they are, I couldn’t see many saying “shocking treatment”, “should have had till end of season”. They’d have been hounding him out.
wilder massively over achieved and Blades are already down. Bruce massively under achieves and we have a slim chance.
