    It's squeaky bum time!

Will spurs be able to handle the pressure or will they bottle it?

Only a handful of games left to decide where the title will go.

I think they will bottle it, even thought it's possibly the worst league campaign many teams have produced in years, I still think they will bottle it, starting against the goons. They should beat West ham but it's pasta gate from there on in.

I think they'll beat The Gooners but I quite fancy West Ham to get something.

I think it will be the other way around luv, the Spammers will lose, giving them false hope, and when they lose to the goons that hope will die and full scale board meltdown will commence.

They've done well, albeit in the worst pl campaign to date for other teams, but let's not take that away from them, the last time they were in this situation Hitler was still alive, this along with their reputation for bottling things makes me believe they will fail.

    You Scousers crack me up.

In fairness (apart from HIAG needing a bigger boat) most/all the Spurs posters here are waiting for the wheels to come off at some point and remain grounded about our chances.

As I've posted recently, I'd take 3rd now if offered. The Hammers are very solid at home this season, so a point tonight would be a good result IMO. The Arsenal game this weekend will give a clearer picture as to where the title could end up.

    Whatever happens.....it's been emotional. <ok>

How **** must you be to still be 16 points adrift of us, nothing short of what your arrogance deserves.

Your not a big club to the rest of us Sucky...we got our own big clubs to be concerned with. It's a shame you don't.

There won't be any meltdowns because we've already achieved far more than most of us expected or hoped for at the start of the season. Admittedly, I'd be very disappointed if we didn't at least make top 4. Apart from that we will just take one game at a time and see where it leads us.

It's a myth that this is the worse league in a long time imo it's the strongest since when did teams like stoke be able to buy players like shaqiri and didn't west ham reject a 40 million bid for payet. The strength of all teams have gone up a lot apart from the traditional big teams

In that situation we will still be top 2 with Villa and Bournemouth to come. Would still be in the mix.

Are you suggesting Hitler was still alive when we won the league?

No, I was making a lighthearted joke in regards to the last time Spurs were in contention for the title.

    Was it pre Hitler?

"the last time they were in this situation Hitler was still alive"

Holed up in a bunker, completely detached from reality.
Claiming next year would be his year.

And Adolf also had "vengeance" weapons that spectacularly frightened everyone.
    For less than a year.
And then he faded into obscurity only to remembered by deluded morons who
believe his empire will one day be great again.

  19. This is a wum-thread, so it must be treated with extreme caution.

To give a serious answer, though, I'd happily take two points from our next two games or I'd happily lose tonight's game if we can beat the Goonies at the weekend.

I've said it before, that I never expected Spurs to be challenging for the title, merely for a top 4 spot, so I'd have to count myself content if that's all we end up with.

Be absolutely assured, though, that should neither we nor Leicester win the league, and Arsenal do, this board will become a very tedious place to be.

    Not so.
This is an astonishing historical treatise emphatically answering the question
whether as a young man Adolf visited Liverpool.
