whilst we managed to scr@p a draw , this was against a team who have yet to win.this game would have been all over by half time against a better team . untill we scored town were just not creating enough chanches ,we looked poor , we created far too many of our problems with poor defending ,poor distribution and we looked toothless in front of goal.

the goal galvanized town who created a number of chances, laurent squandred a good chance to kill off this game whith Cummings free in space for a tap in.however Laurent was one of towns better players, Norburn did well to last 80 minutes and is bound to be rusty.
the midfield was to easily by passed and they hardly created any chances for the forwards ,untill after Cummings goal. town were second best for lengthy periods of this game with just the odd flash of what they could do, no team can afford to just turn up for 20 minutes.( bearing in mind on paper Ricketts picked an attacking team for this game)

our lack of goals should be a source of concern only bottom team Bolton have scored less goals (1) town have scored(5) in seven games(we alsdo need to bear in mind 3 of them came from one game)

whilst we are getting points so far this season anyone looking to be entertained should give town a miss, whilst they desrve credit for getting back in the game and getting a point on the road this was a less than inspiring performance

let us hope once that all the players are fully fit , we can show a more entertaining style of football and start scoring more goals.

As Leicester have shown, lack of possession is not necessarily a great worry but lack of goals certainly is. We should have more running power in midfield with both Norburn and Laurent in there and the two new lads should provide more of a goal threat. Difficult to see us getting much from Rotherham on Saturday so three points against Southend is vital.
