    Full time

    3-0

Seems like a solid and very competent performance for a 1st pre-season friendly.

p.s. The home kit looks good on my mobile. The back of the shirt had continuous hoops (no white block) and red numbers.

Good to see new names on the scoresheet and an assist/goal from the new signings is good to see.

How did Dieng get on? Cant believe that MW hasnt seen him play before when we have two very average goalies and was getting great reviews from Donny, surely would have gone to see him play, but apparently not?

Dieng will be first choice this season I reckon.
Great that Dykes is off the mark.
I like the look of him.

I expected he’d go. Not because he’s no good but we have to offload at least one of the three and he’s the only one anyone will pay for even if the bids are **** and he’s out of contract in a year. Hope he’ll sign a new deal if he’s given a run in the side as neither of the other two really warrant any further loyalty at his expense and he’s had rave reviews from Doncaster.

Been away and didn't see the game. Seems like Dykes impressed and it was a good all round team performance. Hopefully, Dieng is good enough to take over between the beans.

I think he's much, much better than the other two.

MW confirms Eze left out because of 'interest in him'...

Yep. Sadly it looks like his departure is immanent.

Only a matter of time realistically. If it means we can get a good deal for us, and him, and our other deals sorted quickly then best get on with it to be honest.
Good luck to the lad; he’s shown that if you turn rejection into hard graft and applying yourself the rewards are there.

Probably on the basis that the other two are really poor

I am surprised by the lack of bigger clubs looking to sign him to be honest. If he was Brazilian or spanish then bizarrely I reckon that would be different. Some clubs are really missing a trick here.

Very happy to see we have a solid win.
Great to see Dykes scoring his first of many goals for us.
By the sounds of it, a good positive result for MW, fans and club.

Highlights from todays game - even my 4 year old niece could've scored the goal Dykes got, but good for him to get off the mark...

    Thanks for the clip, Steels.
    The team looked comfortable.
For a moment in the second half, l thought l saw SWP playing for the opposition.
He was running in circles, took a shot to nowhere but on closer inspection, the player was almost 5 foot tall so that blew my theory out the window.
