HURRAY!!!!!!! Glad the fans could be mobilised in sufficient numbers this time...............bleddy foreigners coming over here and winning our trophies. Bah humbug! whatever next.
Take away this lot and it don't leave too many English. Carey..........Irish. Letheren.....Welsh. Songo'o......Cameroon. Canavan.....Irish. Ness...........Scot. J Grant.......Jamaican. Jephcott.....Welsh.
Bad news regarding Joel Grant....he had surgery on his thigh on Wednesday (6th Feb) and will probably be out for the rest of the season.
Last time I looked, Wales, Scotland and NI were part of Great Britain although how we remain to be Great remains to be seen. Joel Grant was born in Acton and Niall Canavan in Leeds. Yann Songo'o was born in Toulon, France.
Efe Ambrose who was linked to Plymouth (out of our league)....has been training with Derby for the last week....Frank Lampard is keen to sign him.
I see that HMRC have tried once to get a winding up order on Bury and intend to try again in the near future. They are also issuing a petition against Bolton with date of hearing to be decided. We keep talking about a club biting the dust one of these days and here we are with 2 possibles once more. It definitely is going to happen one day isn't it.
Is it just me....or are the goal areas at Home Park wearing more this season.....some of the photos I've been looking at seem to show a lack of grass which I haven't noticed in previous seasons.
I think it is just you! The pitch is in the best condition that it has been for years and the grass has lasted really well. Just starting to thin a little in places, but it has to be one of the best pitches outside the prem this season. Another few weeks and it will start growing properly again.
Mason was reportedly seen in the Home Park car park on Saturday. I doubt it personally. Sent from my Samsung Galaxy S9
There is talk that MK Dons have offered Joe Mason a contract at £6,000 per week......where the hell does a 4th tier club find that sought of money.
Blackpool have been put into receivership to force a resolution of the dispute between their current owner, Owen Oyston and ex director Valeri Belokon. Belokon was deemed unfit to own a club after he was convicted for money laundering, tax evasion and dishonesty in his home country, Kyrgzstan. The situation at the club has led to protests and boycotts by fans Clubs that appoint a receiver should be deducted 12 points, which would denote them from 8th in League 1 to 2 points above the relegation zone, lifting us by one place to 14th. I seem to remember we were deducted points so they should be too. Sent from my Samsung Galaxy S9
Charlton's owner is a nob, Blackpool's owner is a nob and neither seem to have the clubs interests at heart. I feel sorry for the supporters with any club like that. I don't wish it on them.
But supporters do lust for money bags owners who'll spend stupid sums on slightly above average players. In that way, they get what they deserve. Sent from my Samsung Galaxy S9
