Definate winter news....starting to snow here in NW Kent at 10am....sometimes quite big flakes....but not yet settling because of previous rain wetting the ground.....forecast better for the afternoon with possible sunny moments.

The FA have confirmed the red cards received at Bradford on Saturday.

Sarcevic has a two game ban.
Sawyer a four game ban......for two straight reds during February.

You basically get an extra game ban for a second red in a season so we knew what was coming anyway.

I've looked up BC's last post.....January 26th where he tells us that he has a prostate op soon.....I've revived the Crawley Match Day Thread so you can see what he said.....I would have thought after five weeks we would have heard from him.....unless there was complications....I hope not.

It seems that a new electric cable is being laid from Outlands Road up to the Barn Park end of Home Park.....supposed to be the start of the Ice Rink build....don't hold your breathe too long.

I notice that Luton, Barnsley and Charlton all promoted last season as Argyle went the opposite way....are all in the relegation spots to return to Div One.

So is there a gap growing between the Championship and Div One.....just like there is between the Premiership and the Championship ?

The Top 8 on recent form (not including yesterday's results) were:
    1. Cheltenham (drew yesterday with Port Vale)
    2. Swindon (lost yesterday)
    3. Cambridge (lost yesterday)
    4. Port Vale (drew yesterday with Cheltenham)
    5. Exeter (lost yesterday)
    6. Argyle (won yesterday)
    7. Crewe (won yesterday)
    8. Crawley (won yesterday)
I take your point but as Sensible will say, anybody can beat anybody on any given Saturday!

This sort of thing means absolutely nothing. You would not have given Forest Green to beat Swindon at Swindon nor necessarily Walsall to beat Exeter comfortably. The matches highlighted should be the big games but any bets a few of the others turn out to be much more important in the end. Last game of the season being Port Vale for us who are currently not doing too shabbily.

Maybe we should have taken more notice that FGR have a better away record than home....and they're coming to Home Park soon.

They have the best away record in the Division.....

Here you are, designed to confuse, now including Saturday's games.

So the Premiership and the EFL have been suspended until April 3rd.

Isn't that when the virus could be at it's worst....so a further suspension would follow ?

Could it mean the end of the season....and ARGYLE being in 3rd place are already promoted ?

They can't end the season without completing the fixture list. As they've acted against Government advice, they'd potentially be liable to compensate clubs who either aren't promoted or who are relegated. Just imagine how much is at stake at the Championship/Premier League boundary.

This is total bollocks inspired by the PL. It's interesting the statement says they've acted in the interests of "players, staff and spectators", Note the order, protecting their multi-million pound players comes first, not the average fan. They aren't going to risk their gravy-train by having to play without one or two key players for a match or two.

We'll probably play through June and July (and where does the transfer window sit then?) and the Euro Championships will be put off to 2021. As you say, God knows where that leaves the transfer window.

Or buy Football Manager 2020. Ideal for the self isolating football fan who knows better the actual gaffer (ie all of us).
