please log in to view this image Wolverhampton Wanderers v Leeds Utd Friday 19th February @20.00 | Molineux Stadium Leeds travel down to the Black Country on Friday evening, boosted in the news that Rodrigo returned to training on Monday and is likely to feature against a Wolves side on the rise. Nuno Espirito Santo's side fought back from 1-0 down at St Mary's Stadium last Sunday to leave the South Coast with all three points. This leaves Leeds one place, and two points above Wolves in the top flight, with a game in hand. Bielsa's side currently occupy 11th place, having picked up 32 points from their 23 games. Wolves have won their last four games against Leeds, including a 1-0 win at Elland Road earlier in the season. The Whites have won 10 Premier League games this term, one fewer than the champions Liverpool. Leeds record signing Rodrigo has missed the last three games with a groin injury, but took to social media earlier in the week showing a picture of himself training with the rest of the squad at Thorp Arch. Diego Llorente, Gaetano Berardi, Adam Forshaw, Ian Poveda and Robin Koch all remain sidelined, whilst Kalvin Phillips calf injury has responded well to treatment, though too early to tell whether he'll be 100 percent by Friday evening. Ever present Mateusz Klich, who played against the Gunners with a hip injury, has recovered and should keep his place. Wolves will be without the services of Daniel Podence, Willy Boly and Jimenez.
This match has got revenge written all over it. At ER we dominated Wolves for most of the game but couldnt take any of the chances we created. We were sloppy in some of our passing because of a boggy slow pitch, so we had passes coming up short and being intercepted and we were punished for a mistake and that cost us all 3 points. There are underlying problems at Wolves and lets hope Bielsa can capitalise
Thats a great point and I would have Dallas back there because he can do a good job and at least try and match him for pace. Or if I was brave I would put one of our U23 Left Wing Backs there, Huggins or Davies would match Traroe
It's not just Traore's pace that worries me, it's his strength too. Horrible combination to defend against. Who have we got that's got the pace & strength to cope with him? No, I can't think of anyone either. That leaves 3 options: 1. Stop him getting the ball in the first place, by close marking. 2. Make him defend by our attack, attack, attack style of play 3. Cripple the basturd in the opening minutes. My preference is option 3, as it's the only one guaranteed to work. How's Berra getting on with his training? Can he last a few minutes before getting his final red for us?
If we have a mix of Huggins or Davies linking triangles with Klich and Harrison Traroe doesnt get enough ball to hurt us
On the other flank Ayling or whoever is playing at RB will have their work cut out against Pedro Neto. Absolute quality.
Maybe he had an off day. He was MOM against Southampton at the weekend and scored a great goal. But we have threats all over the pitch so let them worry about us.
Hopefully we’ll be playing in all white and not that **** we wore at Arsenal. Must be the worst away kit we’ve ever had.
I don't know me and the lads where in Monaco in 95' when the yebo man hit the posh principality for a hat trick in virtually the same kit.....it looked fookin fantastic that night and we partied all night till the next days afternoon flight home
