KWP is back!! Player of the season (so far) for me - been absolutely brilliant for us and will help out us out in both attack and defence.
Absolutely agree with Ronnie. Knew KWP was a great player, but I didnt realise the extent of how important he was for the team until he was missing.
For me: ...............Fraz.......... KWP.....Vesty.......Bedders........Bertie ..........Romeu..........JWP........ ..........Djenepo.......Tella...... ............Ings...........Adams.....
Diallo and Walcott are expected to remain out for much of February while Stuart Armstrong's setback is not considered too serious.
That was certainly the impression I got from Ralph. He seemed a little cautious about playing Vestergaard again so soon after his return.
Big Vest was out for what, 2 months or something? He then had one training session back and got thrown straight into a full game in difficult conditions, which was presumably already a risk. It seems unlikely that he could then go into another game 4 days later. It's a difficult balancing act for Ralph as this is arguably our biggest game of the season so far.
Lerma's stupid late yellow card for Bmouth means he'll miss their QF. So for anyone interested as to who is walking that tight rope for us, it's Bertrand and Stephens (and Chauke).
Tricky one. If KWP is back then no need for a makeshift RB, so do we go Bedders/Stephens or Bedders/Vesty or Bedders/Salisu. My choice (if Vesty is not fully fit) is in that order.
