Bournemouth and Villa lost today. Watford play at Man U. tomorrow and West Ham at Liverpool on Monday. Come Tuesday morning we could be just 3 points behind Watford and West Ham, and 4 points behind Villa.
TEAM NEWS Wolves head coach Nuno Espirito Santo is likely to have an unchanged squad. Ruben Vinagre is expected to remain sidelined, but there could be changes to the side that beat Espanyol in the Europa League on Thursday. Norwich defender Sam Byram will miss the rest of the season following hamstring surgery. Christoph Zimmermann is a doubt with a hamstring injury of his own, while winger Onel Hernandez's knee problem will be assessed. Courtesy of B.BC
I’d be really interested to see Zimmermann rested and Godfrey come in next to Hanley. I know it’s not the cleanest but I feel like Hanley’s brute strength and height next to Godfrey’s pace and movement could be a really good combo. This is a really tough match.
It appears whimsical but even the most robust critiques of Norwich City and their future can understand why we are bottom of the most difficult League in the World.
With the other results this could be a key game for us. An away win could make a huge difference but even a draw would help.
Godfrey in for Zimmermann and of course Byram out. I’m pretty excited to see how this defence shapes up. Really big challenge. I think a point here could really set us off. A heavy loss won’t actually make much difference on paper, but might kill confidence.
