The Chairboys are back at Adams Park for Matty Bloomfield's first home game in charge as manager and after lasts weeks disappointment we need the three points and we welcome the Grecians to AP it was back in 2017 since their last visit a 0-0 draw but we have visited St James Park three times since then two draws one in the cup and a 3-1 defeat back in August, so we have a job to do. Matty is sure to make changes with Chem Campbell likely to start and all eyes will be on our defensive line up and we will all be hoping that Tafa is back at least on the bench. I will be hoping to be going to this one but it is all dependant on whether I recover from a cough and cold that I have had all week it's touch and go at the moment. Lets hope the lads get back to winning ways and look to close the six point gap on the top six but with 14 games to go still plenty of time
I am off to this one again wasn't in the plan to go, as I was there for Ainsworth last game I would like to watch Blooms first home game.
Morecambe holding Bolton to a draw, technically if it stays like this playoffs are in our own hands. 4 games in hand and 10 points behind them.
When did Obita get injured, he was having a decent run in the side. Did we ever get another left back as cover?
The way we played trying to get Vokes into the game I look at it as a point gained the defence was all over the place in the first 10 minutes Exeter had four good chances. JJ without Obita covering him gets caught out too often. Both teams had chances we hit the post in the first half as well which probably would have put the game to bed. Overall I would say Exeter had the better chances to score. Forino had a cracking game as well considering he his still learning.
