Shiv Chanderpaul appears set to be dropped for the Test series against Australia after he was left out of West Indies' 12-member group for a pre-series training camp in Barbados. Chanderpaul could still make it to the Test squad when the final team is decided on May 29, 2015 after the conclusion of the practice match between the Australians and the Board President's XI. The chairman of selectors, Clive Lloyd, however indicated West Indies were keen on looking ahead.
Chanderpaul has played 164 Tests and is 86 short of equalling Brian Lara's record of highest West Indies run-scorer in Tests

Scotland and Ireland could be allowed to join the County Championship - I think this is a good thing for the development of cricket in both countries

Explained as an electricity transformer blast initially by police, the explosion near Gaddafi Stadium during the second ODI between Pakistan and Zimbabwe has now been described as a suicide attack. A sub-inspector was killed and several people injured in the incident.
Although the PCB has said that the remaining match on Sunday will go ahead as planned, the Zimbabwe team management and players will have a meeting with host board officials and security authorities this afternoon to determine the fate of the tour.

Offspinner Saeed Ajmal, who was part of the Pakistan squad in the two-Test series against Bangladesh, was left out of the Test series in Sri Lanka because of his lack of impact with the remodelled bowling action.

Ireland needed just four balls on Friday to seal a convincing win against the UAE on the final day of their ICC Intercontinental Cup match at Malahide.
Craig Young dismissed Muhammed Naveed with just two runs added to the UAE's overnight total as the hosts completed victory by an innings and 26 runs.
    Test status?

Australia ominously in control of the 2nd test in Jamaica against the West Indies who with just 2 1st innings wickets standing still trail the Aussies by 256 runs
    West Indies 143 for 8 (Hazlewood 3-15, Lyon 3-35) - Australia 399 (Smith 199, Taylor 6-47)

In the series against England the West Indies had some good days and won a test - they have not had one good day against the Australians
