Should be a good WC.....I think England will reach the quarters and that's it.....I will probably catch a few games in the States when i can as i will be there on vacation for a few weeks visiting my Daughter and G kids and doing a fair bit of touring as usual.....I'm Backing Germany to win and an outside bet on Portugal...

I'm looking forward to seeing England lift the trophy on 15th July.

In the meantime I shall be putting plenty of teams in for the Telegraph Fantasy World Cup. It makes the meaningless games far more interesting.

    Bring it on!

Doubt I'll watch any of it, personally, can't stand the game, got no interest. Much rather go shopping in Lidles or spending time in the garden giving those azaleas a right good seeing to, bastards.

<doh> damn, I've been 'sleep posting' again

I thought you were serious at first, but I actually agree with it, in the first 6 days maybe one or two games worth a look and that is Portugal v Spain and maybe the german game. To many average and poor sides there, the opener has got to be a classic Russia v Saudi. I may start to have a look when we actually get to the quarters and have some good games. I will wait to get slaughtered.

England are not a bad team and the only thing going against them is lack of experience but they have goal scorers that can take them all the way....My bet is the quarter finals but it wont surprise me if they go further and reach the final.....

One morning the seven dwarfs headed to work at the mine, while Snow White stayed home and prepared lunch.

Just before noon she arrived with sandwiches, only to learn that there had been a terrible cave-in.

Fearing the worst, Snow White, began calling out, hoping that some of the dwarfs had survived.

'Hello? Hello?" She hollered. "Can anyone hear me? Hello?".

For quite a while there was no answer.

Getting desperate, Snow White tried again. "Hello . Is anyone down there?"

Just as she was giving up all hope, a faint voice came from deep within the mine.

Someone was yelling, "England for the World Cup! England for the World Cup!"

Totally relieved Snow White wiped a tear from her eye and screamed ecstatically,

"Thank God, Dopey is still alive!"

Their lack of experience is due to getting knocked out early of any major tournament they qualify for. They don't have the technical ability to get anywhere near the final <ok>

It looks as though Spain have just seen off Tunisia. England will do well to get out of their group.

England should make the round of 16, disgrace of a squad when a few cant even get a regular gig in their own sides, when are the FA going to restrict imports??

Correct, but I'm so confident that England won't get to the final that if they do, I will change my signature to "Swanseaandproud is a legend", for a month <laugh>
