Following on from the draw you can predict your winner using this wallchart: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/world-cup-2018-wallchart-predictor/ Or if you a lazier: https://www.theguardian.com/football/2017/dec/01/england-maradona-world-cup-group-of-hope Curiously, I had France win with my predictor and then again with the generator! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Today sees the World Cup 2018 draw from the Kremlin presented by Gary Linekar. Pot 1: Russia, Germany, Brazil, Argentina, Belgium, Poland, Portugal, France Pot 2: England, Peru, Colombia, Spain, Switzerland, Mexico, Uruguay, Croatia Pot 3: Denmark, Iceland, Costa Rica, Sweden, Egypt, Tunisia, Senegal, Iran Pot 4: Australia, Japan, Panama, Serbia, Nigeria, Morocco, Saudi Arabia, South Korea You can only have one team in each group per confederation except Europe when it is a maximum of two. Russia will be in Group A. Here is a summary of how the draw works:https://www.theguardian.com/footbal...rks-where-to-watch-teams-england-should-avoid Are you at all interested, who would you like to be together?
I don't want England to get Japan. I want to cheer Maya on and not hope they lose so England scrape through.
Russia, England, Iran and South Korea.....if you could arrange that please. Torn a bit as I like the host nation to get somewhere in the competition, but needs must....England comes first.
Can't have 3 European clubs in a group. I presume you are hoping that this will keep England away from Germany in subsequent rounds...good thinking.
So what is the hardest group England can get? The one I posted I think is the hardest on paper but not allowed as too many European teams? I guess Brazil/England/Egypt/Serbia?
I said this many weeks ago! Top a group containing Germany, and there's every likelihood of avoiding the other top seeds in the last 16, Spain apart who may also top their group. QFs beckon. All that is needed is to get rid of those awful shirts. The RU white is so much better.
