More to do with their form but I think their players may handle the heat better than other countries (even though a lot play in Europe)
Nope. Not at all. But there is something quite endearing hearing the words "It's coming home" being sung with an Indian accent, and in completely the wrong tune. Credit to them, these Indian migrant workers are so fanatic about football, they support nine different countries simultaneously.
Argentina is quite temperate, there are hotter countries in Europe like Spain and Italy. Unless all their players come from the North.
Yeah, I just feel the South American players will be less likely to be affected by the weather than say the likes of England, France and Germany
Qatar are going to ban beer sales at the World Cup stadiums, after the royal family interfered. Their entire project was just utter bullshit from the start.
One thing that did make me laugh though is that the people who have been silent on the corruption claims, migrant workers being exploited and the LGBTQ+ issues have suddenly decided that biggest outrage is no alcohol inside stadiums
Because that might actually affect them, even if it's in the most theoretical way. In typically hypocritical fashion though, alcohol isn't being prohibited in the stadiums. You can still buy and consume it in the boxes, just not in the stands. No beer for the peasants.
Sort of like that archaic rule of not drinking if you can see the pitch...which doesn't exist for rugby or cricket
