Oh FFS! The corrupt, bald FIFA president, who just happens to live in Doha, wants the West to apologise to Qatar - and also him, for bullying him when he had red hair! I just have the feeling this will not pour oil on troubled waters...
If the values up include death for being gay then no. They can stick their values where the sun don’t shine. That is.probably also punishable by stoning to death
Guessing long sleeves and below knee clothing too. Lucky it won’t be hot and you can buy a refreshing cold beer
Upper body rules seems to be no exposure of shoulders/armpits/midriff in general, and no cleavage for women. Lower body rules seems to be that attire must go from waist to just below the knee. "Lucky it won’t be hot and you can buy a refreshing cold beer " If you are in the "posh" seats. definitely.
https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/63690765 Looks like an absolute farce. A friend of mine arrived there last night and he is absolutely fuming. He's sticking it through for the Iran game then he's trying to get a refund on the rest and flying home. Told me this morning even if he doesn't get the money back he'll probably just come home anyway and work overtime for a few weeks to cover the difference. Said there is no air-con anywhere, impossible to find food and drink. He confirmed staff are really nice but totally clueless as to what is happening, where and when. Oh and he said at 5am this morning he was woken up by the sound of lorries delivering building materials for an unfinished section of the camp. Utter madness. Most others I know are staying in the Emirates or Bahrain and flying in for the matches they want to see. Much nicer and much cheaper than £175 a pop. But of course, this means that the bulk of revenue flow is not going back to Qatar itself. It is staggering that this bid was even looked it without being laughed out the presentation room. A country of little over 2 million people with literally no history of hosting major sporting tournaments welcomes the biggest sporting tournament in the world with an average fan attendance close to 50% of the country's entire population? Sounds like a genius idea.
