Holland countered SA's choke with a double-choke. Good old Bresnan leaks runs in his final over, England need 190 to win against SL, probably won't get it.
Great win today.Hales was magnificant 116 no from 64 as was Morgan 57 from 38. but the fielding was atrocious,4 dropped catches not good enough. Need to improve against SA
Morgan did OK, for a change, but let us down at the crunch time. Thankfully, Bopara came in and saw off the threat of Malinga paving the way for the win. SA have been pretty poor but have two wins on the board, need to beat them and we're in the semis, probably.
I think this sums it up (cricinfo): "Perhaps England's winter was always destined to end like this. After a pitiful collapse in the Ashes series in Australia and a motley collection of ODI defeats came the greatest ignominy of all: a failed challenge in World Twenty20 completed with an overwhelming defeat against Netherlands. Make no mistake, this was a defeat entirely lacking in energy, nous and mental strength. England make a habit of losing to Netherlands, but surely none have been as bad as this."

......"morale is fragile".....isn't that what we pay managers for...to bolster it. That money comes out of the overpriced tickets! All in all we have deteriorated and I don't see an Englishman with the talent to do the job coming along to save us. The ECB guy on the radio this morning was a 'talking head' politician and dear old Aggers applied no pressure and we got no answers....all he did was blame 'social media'!
