    No I'm English, however I've realised all England does for me is take my taxes and feed scruffy peasants on the dole and build things in London. For this reason I'm preparing for civil war.

    Agree with everyone saying Toon before country (and that should be whatever 'your' country is, even if not England).

    Also, us winning the CL has extra attraction:
    season 1. First we'd have to have a great season to qualify in the first place - at least a top 4 finish in the EPL
    season 2. We'd win the CL
    season 3. We'd automatically qualify for CL again as champions, regardless of EPL league position

    So 3 great seasons to look forward, not just one 'tournament'

    So DEFINITELY Toon winning CL for me!

    Newcastle win the Champions League? You have to win the Premier League first!

    It is, however, more likely than England winning anything. I have to agree with the general sentiment on here that it's club first, then the prima donnas of the national side second. I must say I like Hodgson though. Competent without the ego.

    Newcastle win the CL.

    I have affection for England and love to see us win the world cup, but I don't have the same love for my country as I do for my club.

    Not necessarily mate.

    The current Chelsea team don't have a chance in hell of winning the Premier League any time soon, but they are only 90 mins away from maybe winning the CL.

    No brainer. I hope Benni and Cabaye have absolute stinkers against England and are twatted 6-0. Any true fan of the England would hope we smash them. But I hope all of our players do well otherwise.

    I'd struggle to answer the original question. I'm very patriotic so love England and hope we win everything (no danger of it but it doesn't change my support). But dangling the carrot of a Newcastle CL win just makes for an impossible decision. My head will explode if I even contemplate an answer.

    i have no feelings towards England, i think the last match i watched was when Germany murdered us, i actually enjoyed it because it showed that the team were all talk. For me it's club first everytime, i'd be happy with Newcastle winning the league cup and England winning nowt for the rest of eternity.

    if your a newcastle fan & this isnt a wind up, (im assuming it is) then your would rather want to see us win champs league surely?! unless your a complete retard & a douche.

    your local club is way more important than the national side IMO. well it is to me anyways, **** england they are ****! always have been always will be, couldnt care less how they do in the euros or world cup even if they ever won either ( which is highly unlikely) then i can safely say i wouldnt be bothered.

    my club is more much important to me, always has been, always will be
