    I see that comment as Grigg, Wright and Winchester are away... If any or all of these players are still living elsewhere out of the area then they all need to go.

    winchester went back to Northern Ireland to see family. I don’t think there’s any indication he’s not committed to the cause. Might be an illness (or worse)

    What is worrying is how do you believe anything LJ says if after the build up he gave him and nothing materialised.

    Sir Alex gave Veron a massive build up. (Not comparing LJ to Fergie, just saying that managers sometimes get it wrong at all levels)

    just doesn’t always work out. I saw glimpses of Winchester. Thought he looked good sometimes but it was always too fleeting. He may flourish now power etc are gone. Guess only time will tell

    im scratching my head to remember a game where he was 80% effective the whole game, instead of a couple of flashes that failed to impress and backpasses when we all wanted it forward

    There was one game where he was superb. Read the game really well, stepped in several times and nicked the ball, zipping in great incisive passes and generally running the midfield. I thought he had properly settled in and would kick on.

    Anonymous after that, unfortunately. Along with several other teammates! Could have been due to injury niggles, dealing with personal stuff or something.

    Deserves another chance imho.

    Winchester could go either way, I think LJ has made a few mistakes regarding player assessment as well as making some good ones. I like the way he speaks off the cuff, and his apparent honesty, but his team selection and player judgement does gives me cause for concern, not to mention his dress sense <laugh> In spite of this I still believe we are OaU.
