With so many personnel changes it is going to take some time for things to start to gel, just one new player can take time to settle. Yet once again we see the wildly swinging mood pendulum that is not 606 Hull City.
You would have thought taking penalties would be something that some of the players practice and before the game starts a decision made as to who is the taker and who is the number two if the first choice is no longer on the pitch.
Dicko should have taken the penalty. Perfect chance to get a new striker off the mark. Larsson looked over-excited and his run up was too long. It was one of them where you knew it wasn't going in.
I had a horrible feeling he'd miss as he went to take it. I assumed it would be Grosicki or as you suggested Bowen or Dicko rather than Larsson. Ultimately turned the game away from us as it turned out.
Liverpool just beaten 5 nowt too. I'd imagine their fans are bemoaning the quality of players they have, and have bought, and will be calling for new owners and a new manager too.
How can you win 4-0 one week, strengthen the squad and then lose 0-5 the next game?? I don't see Slutsky lasting long, far too up & down, doesn't see to grasp the defending side of the game
you can't compare it to Liverpool's loss, they had a man sent off and were up against a top side, Derby are good but not that good
