    In cup games.

But please get promoted so we can renew our rivalry in the Prem.

At least you did not smash up the scoreboard when the fifth went in a la 1984. That was one of the funniest things I've ever seen at the Bridge. Great turnout from your lads that day.

Good luck getting rid of Batesy and the rest of your season.

PS Effing noisy when you scored!

Nope, we gave it everything for the first hour, then ran our of puff, and you steamrollered us. First priority must be promotion.

Slightly flattering scoreline, but FACT would definitely have been worried going into half time, not helped by a very loud chorus of you're getting sacked in the morning. You'll probably go on and win the tournament now. But the Swans over two legs will not be a walk over. Good luck, hopefully we'll see you for a couple of league encounters next season. Pity about the severity of the segregation. Understandable, but irritating.

London, it could have been different if Tom Lees had scored that header just before the break, because 2 up at Elland Road is a big ask for anyone to claw back. Stronger arm from our keeper in the first couple of minutes of the restart and we're still in front, but eh oh, we were beaten by a team with a massive gulf in class and at times it was brilliant to watch, even if we were on the receiving end. At least Benitez has got your team up for this match, as many big time charlies would have bottled it on a cold wet, windy night in Yorkshire, especially after a long haul flight, so well done. Is benitez getting a warmer reception yet or will you never accept him. What's your view on Lampard and his contract, is he worth a longer deal, or should he and Terry bow out gracefully. Good luck for the rest of the season

If you don't want Lampard or Terry & can help out with their wages, can we have 'em?

Help out with their wages? They better pay every penny of them. Doubt if our entire squad is paid what either of those are earning. Hence large gulf in class

I think this tweet sums up the gulf in class last night ...

    Eddie Taylor ‏@EastStandUpper
#lufc line-up last night: Free-Youth-£600k-£500k-Youth-Loan-Free-Loan-Free-Free-Free. Chelsea's first sub = 29x cost of entire Leeds side.

I was saying to my mate yesterday

I wouldn't have Torres or Luiz at Leeds and I am being deadly serious

Tom Lees was better at Centre Back last night than Sideshow bob

I fpeople give me a hard time over Barndoor Billy, heaven only knows what they'd make if I put the case for Torres. That said, he scored a shed load at Liverpool & clearly should be a class act. Fortunately for us last night, again he was anything but. As for Luis, some have said that playing him in defence isn't his best position. Me, I've no idea. But I certainly would take both Terry & Lampard, wages issues aside.

Fair summary, I expected worse from you!

Your cup form is impeccable against us, granted, but you've always been our bitches in league fixtures.

Not in league honours now you've bought your way ahead, but in league fixtures won, we have a commanding lead over you. :)

In your senile dementia, you must have forgotten that I already explained I don't give a **** what rules some suit drew up about 'franchises'. Leeds United: 1919-present day. Deal with it, spacker.

Not in European cup victories though. Some of us can beat Bayern.

Thankfully Bayern got that deserved win in 75 to atone for disappointment this year :)

Whoops, you seemed to have signed your post with your real name, perhaps the mods can help you out.

You may not give a ****, you ignore most clear facts that interrupt your delusions. The 'suits' you ignorantly (as in lack of knowledge) refer to are actually the representatives of the clubs that form the league, so your daft comment is actually aimed at you. <laugh>.

Fortunately for you, the clubs that form the league decided to offer leeds charity and bent the rules to let the new club join the league in place of the club that was liquidated.

Unfortunately for you, companies house are quite unambiguous with their records, which show the former Leeds United as liquidated. <ok>
