afternoon Rs, just wondering who you expect to play at the weekend (assuming you dont make any new signings)? since i've just noticed your left side is off to the ACON, Barton's suspended and i heard Faurlin's injured?

Certainly a tough old game for first under Sparky. A win would be fantastic but happy with draw and a win against Wigan.

I agree, hopefully new faces in before Saturday.

Did his ACL at the weekend in the cup game. Just what you need...... mirrored last season, when we lost Mackie to a broken leg in the 3rd round. If this trend is to continue, I'm wondering how we can play Rob Hulse in every position in the FA Cup 3rd round game next year....

I'd be happy if you pissed all over us for 90 minutes and we held on for a draw...................much like you did at Loftus Road.

I meant, they got pissed on and held on for a draw at Loftus Road, I'd be delighted if it was complete reversal at St.James Park (refuse to call it that new name).

my apologies for being misled! I agree i'd take the 0-0 up there! even without their two best players, I'd refuse to get ahead of ourselves

Other than Ba and Tiote our only serious absence is Steven Taylor, but Williamson has done fine filling in so far.

Ba and Tiote are a big miss. If HBA has an off game that doesn't leave us with too many goals in the team. I think we'll put in a better performance than we did at your place but that doesn't mean we'll take more points.

Ron Hulse is on Fire! ...

We burnt him along with some domestic pets we found

We are signing Rodney Marsh tomorrow as well getting Keegan out of retirement

Darren Peacock and Sir Les are also on their way back

They're not THAT big of a miss. To be frank, Guthrie played near as well as Tiote did when he had to fill in for him a month or two back. Very impressive performances.

Then there's Ba, but we have HBA back, and I'm sure Pardew will encourage the players to score goals themselves instead of funnelling it towards Ba.

    I'm confident.
