If you mean the penalty decisions he gave us they were all spot on. The only dodgy decision he gave in our favour was the sending off for Mike Whitlow but that didn't alter the course of the game much! We throroughly deserved to win that game
This is a truly outstanding goal and one that I will always remember!
Here's another one, and one that will probably not be remembered by anyone else... I was front row Jarrold when we played Inter Milan (something to do with the Helveg transfer I think), and one of the Inter players put in a particularly unfair and unpenalised challenge on one of our players (something says Drury) and ran off. Craig Fleming chased him, absolutely nailed him, and got quite the cheer from those of us nearby!
JWM I guess what I am saying is in relation to this Why do you feel, at your age, the sudden impulse to attempt to derail a thread by banging on about the same old boring historical dribble and how apparently insignificant Norwich City and their achievements as a club are in your eyes? Childish and pointless and this post was no more than a wum attempt to get a reaction and then go on to argue with anyone who challenges your pointless intervention.
1) Jackson heads home vs Portsmouth (pitch invasion) 2) "The big man, the welsh man, in cardiff, for delia and the boss. Norwich stare at the premiership" - Iwan rising highest to give us the lead after 90 seconds of extra time. 3) Mulryne takes a great assist from the ref and fires the ball into Readings net with only minutes to go. Cue "We're gunna win the league" being sung over and over again. LOVE IT!
3)- The McDougall/Bowyer partnership, 2)- Milk cup final in '85. 1)- Watching Martin Peters play for us. Who would believe that a World Cup winner, and goal scorer, would grace the Carow Road turf, and for so long. I know only one of these is a specific event, but the other two were magnificent.
Some good ones, GE. I'd go for the Milk Cup and Martin Peters as well. My third would be Bayern Munich away.
