Adam Idah scored the winner as the U23s won 1-0 at Reading. Heise was the only over age player. https://www.readingfc.co.uk/news/2019/november/report--reading-u23-vs-norwich-city-u23/
Nice goal from Famewo vs Swansea U23's yesterday. Took advantage of a bit of luck when the ball fell to him. Starts about 2:08 into the clip. https://www.swanseacity.com/news/highlights-swansea-city-u23s-v-norwich-city-u23s
Two nice goals from two 18 year-old's Josh Martin and Adam Idah in U23's vs Sunderland. https://t.co/s9EtuUqzXt

That's sad. I thought he was coming on but injuries haven't helped him progress to the next level. Not every young gun can make it to the top.
Such a shame, he appeared to be a talent, it 2 failed non-league loans appear to have been the last straw
Nice assist from Jamar Loza. Watch from 6 minutes 40 seconds. https://www.wokingfc.co.uk/tv/v/1350/2/
Very positive feedback on Jaiyesimi: https://www.hitc.com/en-gb/2020/02/...yable-manager-claims-norwich-loanee-is-100-p/
And, following on from that..... @davefreezer ยท Jaiyesimi has told the Swindon Advertsier: "Hopefully I could play for Norwich in the Championship if they do go down, but it's football and you never know what can happen." #NCFC
Seven youth players will be released by NCFC: Jaiyesimi, Bloomfield, Odusina, Mourgos, Billy Johnson, Scully, and Alfie Payne. https://www.edp24.co.uk/sport/norwich-city/canaries-announce-seven-u23-players-are-leaving-1-6672191 I had hopes that some of them could step up, but not to be.
Very surprised by Jaiyesimi and Odusina, who I thought might have a good chance. Hope all of them find clubs they're happy with.
https://www.canaries.co.uk/News/202...ign-professional-contracts-with-norwich-city/ 7 of our academy players have been given 1-2 year contract extensions, in some cases their first professional contracts.
Yes, I saw that Suffolk. That's another key element of the club's long term development process. SW's focus has always been on recruiting and developing young players. That, ironically, will be made easier by relegation.
And it's critical that it continues, given our status as a self-financing team, well after Webber has left us. Identify, sign and nurture young players, coach them to first team standard, and then sell to the highest bidder. Largely explains why we've been - and always will, with Delia at the helm, a yo-yo club at best. Had we had an owner with funding, we might have been able to retain Maddison, build a team / squad around him, and who knows?
Good to see the club focus on our youth team , we have had 5 break through to our first 11 which is terrific but the youth sides struggled the last few seasons . It's easier to buy a player with millions than keep producing diamonds . Saints were always bringing talent through but that seems to have dried up over the last few years . No guarantees that poaching teenagers will pay off but it's a hell of lot cheaper
