Yes, I read that this morning and thought the same thing. He'd be better back with our U23s than not playing at all there.
I had this argument with a poster on here about Josh Martin. I was told he has no divine right to play at MK after Rusty moved on . Of course Gillingham aren't forced to play him but If TDP isn't even on the bench then there's no point him being there . Saying that I would be happy to never see Gilmore play for us again .
Inexperience written all over those quotes from Steve Lovell, the caretaker manager. The Gills are in a mess, which makes me wonder why the loan was agreed in the first place.
Yeah for him to say he hasn’t seen TDP play as an excuse for him not being in the team and unlikely to be picked. Educate yourself, watch some of Norwich’s u23s highlights!
If I wanted to assess a player the last thing I'd look at is highlights, I'd want to watch a game or 2 at least
It wouldn't hurt as many of our U23 games are on YouTube for the entire 90. I'm pretty sure most scouting and analysis is based on footage . You don't physically need to attend a reserves game to view players .
Ended 2-2. Better day for Bali who was rated 7.4 by WhoScored while Onel was rated 6.2. Both are getting good game time anyway.
Meanwhile Zimbo played the first 45 minutes as Kamara scored both goals in the U23s win over Burnley: https://www.pinkun.com/sport/norwich-city/pl2-report-ncfc-u23s-2-burnley-u23s-1-8638258
Contract expires this summer, I think this move was more about doing right by him and getting him a decent move as a free agent this summer. Hopefully Birmingham are at least picking up a healthy chunk of his wages. Unless he scores 10+ in the remainder of the season, I don't see him playing for us again.
The rumours of Hugill’s loan at WBA being cut short have now proven true, apparently he’s been recalled and then is expected to go to Cardiff on loan for the rest of the season. Decent move, he clearly wants game time.
Good start for Hugill at Cardiff: https://www.norfolklive.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/norwich-hugill-west-brom-cardiff-6584878
Only the National League, but Matthew Dennis seems to be getting into the swing of things at Southend. 6 goals in his last 7 games. Contract up in the summer, suspect he'll still be allowed to leave but good to see him performing well.
