He'd warm the bench for a while.

    Found another tweet:

@soccer_sauce: #CPFC will have their resolve to keep Wilfried Zaha severely tested over next 4 weeks. #SAINTS #ROYALS and #WBA expected to lead bidding war

I think he's got potentional def could do with the pace in the side.

Although I don't tend to join the clamour for more and more players, and although I'm heartily glad that Saints are strengthening the squad, I would like to see some substantial rumours of Saints going after a few defenders of quality. Strikers and Playmakers are exciting but I feel we need a bit more competition at the blunt end.

I am aware that I probably contradicted myself at least twice in those lines above, but hopefully, you get the drift. ;)

I think he believed his own hype but under the right manager could do well.

Would you rather see de Ridder or Chaplow out wide who both constantly fail to deliver the final ball?

I can't believe that two people as organised, thorough and professional as NA and NC would have let Martin go to Palace without a CB in the bag. I am convinced that one has sigend and it will be announced after a holiday or tournament.

Well yes, I'm sure you're right, FLT, but we just don't get to hear of anything. Not a sniff. Not even the wrong sniff, which is miles wide of the mark.

Strikers..? Oh yeah, we're bidding for everybody. ;)

    Wikipedia I know but...

In July, 2011, Abdennour signed a four year contract with the Ligue 1 side Toulouse. In February 2012, Toulouse extended this, tying the Tunisian to a deal running until 2016. July 1st 2012 Abdennour move to English Premiership side Southampton on a 4 year deal worth 4.9 Million Euros

Zaha is a striker, he reminds me of Walcott but much worse at finishing. We need players that can actually cross the ball and stay on the wings, insted of cutting in all the time. Someone like Jarvis(won't be him they want ten mil)

Really..? Wikipedia may not be definitive, but they're not irresponsible either. There might be something in that entry.

He happens to be Tunisian aswell. Maybe RJ has pointed him out, has played a few Internationals and a few goals.

His temperament could be a problem, got a bit moody when playing Saints and had a bit of rough and tumble with Danny Fox at home and Jack Cork away? Not sure if he would be the right calibre of player Adkins would look at. He wouldn't like to be on the bench or be taken off and could cause a ruck with Adkins which could lead to him being sold at a cut price. He has a lot ability and could have decent future ahead of him with the potential he has but could be a risky signing. We could use his pace out wide but only managed 5 goals last season, which can only mean he will get less in the premiership. Skilful as you like but decision making has been poor sometimes, would be better than De Ridder and Chaplow for ability but for squad harmony it would only get worse.
