Millwall legend Barry Kitchener has lost his battle to Cancer.

Very sad day as he was one of the first Millwall players I had the pleasure of meeting. Top top bloke and loved everything about Millwall.

    Rest in Peace Barry!

Terrible news - a true Millwall legend.

Thanks for everything you gave us, Kitch.

This man's legacy should inspire our current squad and all who love Millwall to see us through till the end of the season. Time to pull together.

The club must honour him in the appropriate way - and it's not just a minute's clapping

    Ideas?

I was 5 years old when I first started going to Millwall 1975/6 Season.

Can't remember too much about it, but a few weeks ago most of that
team was at Dockers Day - Terry Brisley, Alan Dorney, Jon Moore, John Seasman, Phil Walker, Phil Summerill, Tony Towner, Tony Hazell, and Barry Kitchener. The stand out name in that list for me and the one I was looking forward to seeing was Barry Kitchener - What a legend.

Not sure what the club should do to honour his memory Blendon - maybe a statue?

    RIP Kitch
Shocked ain't the word, can remember him heading the ball(against Rotherham i think) from the halfway line about 1976ish and the ball either went straight in or hit the bar and someone else knocked it in, still i've never seen anything like that since.
    A True Legend.

Sympathies lads, can't honestly say i remember his name, but its always sad when one of your heroes passes away, and at such a relatively young age.
