Can't agree. For me it's............. 1. Zola 2. Drogba 3. Cech 4. Hazard. 5 Makelele Now it gets really difficult, however........ 6. Robben 7 Jimmy Floyd 8 Gudjohnsen 9 Carvalleho 10 Ballack Actually, it's impossible, so many great ones not in simply because one forgets. Nevertheless, not a bad team. Throw in a couple of locals like Terry, Wise ,Lampard, Joe Cole and Alan Hudson............ Apologies to all the greats not on the list.
Well he aint gonna rank himself at no. 1 is he, that would be a tad cocky, and that aint in Franco's nature!
Ummmm, the best ever Chelsea ‘foreign’ player. It has to be Roy Bentley - like me, he was born in Bristol. Seriously, for me it has to be Drogba.
I think it’s Hazard. He’s been carrying us single handedly for years now. Obviously plenty of greats, Drogba, Carvalho, Essien, Hasselbaink and many others but they were playing in good teams a lot of the time. Hazard has been playing with a bunch of clowns for about 50% of his career with us.
I missed out a load of top players like De Boeuf, so Ruud shouldn't be too unhappy. Could have done with a few yesterday, what a pile of poop Sarri has got us playing, back to a month ago with all the ball and no clues as to where the goal is.
Had Ruud come 4/5 years before you would have had a point. He was world class just not at Chelsea, great player mind.
To be fair to Sarri, we often seem to have difficulties / bad luck against Burnley. Under António Conte - as new league Champions - we lost 2-3 to them at home. Didn’t Gary Cahill get sent off early in that game for a pretty tame challenge? Burnley were wasting time yesterday and were very lucky to hold on for the 2-2 draw. I just can’t fault our blistering attacking intent for the last 20 minutes yesterday.
Hazard's the best player we've probably ever had but he's not at the same level legend wise as Terry, Lamps and Drogba IMO
